9 for 9 | PHILANTHROPY
It has always been important to us that we give back. We are on this planet for a very short period of time. Our belief is that when we leave this planet we should have had a positive impact on others. Especially on those that are less fortunate than ourselves. Sure, we should all have fun and have a great time and work towards our goals and dreams. But let's create positive ripples along the way.
Of course our primary focus has been to have a positive impact on you, our most valued customers. Our relationship is so important and without you 9 for 9 would not exist. Yet, if we can have a positive impact on both you and the wider world as a whole that’s a remarkable thing. 9 for 9 is a young company and still very much in a phase of continual re-investment. Growing businesses can be challenging where funds and cashflow can be tight. We have no outside investment so we are balancing this as best we can. But we will be donating a proportion of our revenues to organisations that resonate with us. We hope they resonate with you too as we see this as a collaborative effort. You support us and we together are supporting others in need.
We are taking a strategic philanthropic view with regards to our giving. This is so it can have the greatest long term impact. However, philanthropic efforts take time to create significant impact. So we will also be contributing to organisations that deal with front line issues to reduce direct suffering at the time of need. We will be changing the organisations we support every 3 months. This way we can support a diverse range of work and increase our scope of impact. We will likely come back to organisations we have already supported as well.
We thank you all so much for choosing to shop with us and for your continued support. We appreciate you all!

We are currently supporting the following organisation:
Habitat for Humanity has a vision for a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, and a world where housing poverty and homelessness are eliminated. They believe that the home is a key catalyst in helping to permanently break the cycle of poverty.
To achieve their vision, they build homes, partnerships, communities and networks; since 1976, they have built more than 1.3 million homes and served over 20 million people. See their Key Milestones.

The situation occurring within the Ukraine is devastating and horrific. We are donating to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal which aims to help those affected by providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.
