Coincidence?

Now this is weird, I’ve been wearing headbands for a few years now and find it really hard to find any here in the UK. I was browsing and found JUNK Brands and they had exactly what I wanted. I looked at buying direct but the postage cost(s) made it ridiculous and not being able to find them in the UK, resigned myself to continue the search. Then I found these guys who not only have all the JUNK headbands I want, but they are also 10mins drive away!!! On my second headband now and LOVE’EM!

Though sign "Brittain", not courage I like it anyway

Thank you for your feedback! We just wanted to clarify the meaning of the symbol. The character 英 is traditionally used to represent qualities such as courage, bravery, excellence and heroism.

It’s true that this character also appears in the Chinese/Japanese word for “Britain” (英国), but on its own it does not mean Britain — it only carries that meaning when combined with another character. So the standalone symbol on the headband correctly reflects the intended meaning of courage/heroic strength.

I got the Jolly Roger Flex tie to wear at Salsa dancing and went for a spin the other night, it didn't disappoint. Got some kind words from people who saw it. Great from Darren and Emma at 9for9 as always.

Love it, but too expensive

I like to wear headbands playing Padel. It’s my thing, if you like. So when I found 9 for 9 I was blown away by the number and variety of headbands on offer. I bought 2 to try them out and I think they’re great. Trouble is £18 for a strip of cloth is not worth the money.

They are costly to import but try to keep our prices as low as we can while also offering a large range in stock available for immediate dispatch. I like it, but …

I do like the flexi tie headbands and they get noticed on the Padel courts, but they are too expensive for what is effectively a small bit of material you tie around your head! If they cost half of what you charge I’d give them 5 stars.

Just by way of explanation, JUNK headbands can be more costly than other headbands on the market; but they are printed on a high-performance technical fabric and sewn in the USA. We have to import them into the UK with all the associated costs that this involves. Some of these import costs are increasing significantly and we have so far managed to absorb all of these costs. We hope that you will enjoy your JUNK headband and consider them again in the future.

The Black Lightning Headband is class. Really quality garment that keeps sweat out of my eyes when I'm dancing. Perfect size

Having Tried the other junk headbands, I’m a massive fan of the NOVARUPTA line. I find that bandannas or headbands usually can be a bit too big and easily slide off your head, or on the other side of the spectrum where especially for my big head it’s quite small. This one fits perfectly and is easy to tie. I just wish the JUNK logo was slightly smaller as I’m not keen to advertise for free :-))

Perfect width and 3asy to keep perfectly tight through untying the knot and retying tighter or looser. Looks really good and i love the pattern and material. I will be back.

Comfortable but not so good at sweat absorption

I love the design as it is wide across the forehead but narrow at the back. Available colours are very limited as the ones I liked were all out of stock. I have found after trying it out for several runs that it does not absorb sweat very well, maybe too thick, so I am disappointed as they are expensive.

Comfortable headband for running

I wanted a headband that was easy to put on, did not take up much room in my pocket, and had the tapered design of wider on my forehead but narrow towards the back. This design ticked all the boxes. I will they had more colours though, as many of the colours I would have preferred were sold out, so I had to choose something else. It absorbs sweat well, stays in place, and although it has stretched a bit I can easily untie the knot to make it a bit tighter.
