Pioneer Hybrid Belt (Digital Camo)

The Pioneer Hybrid Belt is now born… and it is like a traditional nylon belt and a Pioneer leather belt had a baby. The Hybrid has the ease of use/comfort of a Velcro belt, and the support that is similar to a leather belt which is definitely a win-win. The idea behind this belt was to offer a product that is a bit less specific to just powerlifting. This belt is geared toward cross-training, Olympic lifting, general training, and strongman! That said, it can definitely still be used for powerlifting style training, but cannot be used for competition. These are 4″ all the way around and do have an overlap in the front for you to brace against.

Solid belt for general purpose lifting, great service from 9for9

Fairly rigid but thin, comfortable and easy to adjust. Materials seem high quality. The marpat forest version looks great. Would recommend 9 for 9 if interested in Pioneer products.

Interesting piece of equipment

I am sooo impressed by this belt. I was little bit sceptical about it, but watched some reviews and decided to buy. Using it for week now and the belt is incredibly comfortable, strong, flexible and except the PB or one rep max, it basically replaced my Pionner cut belt. It’s lighter, easier to put on and off and doesn’t irritate when you snatch or clean pressing.
The Velcro looks very strong and I am NOT worried about wearing out.
Go and get yourself some, you will not be disappointed!

Kryptek Belt

Best belt i have purchased, i have been powerlifting now for the past 7/8 months and wish i’d brought this earlier it offers the same support as a leather belt without the weight of one. will definitely be getting another when the one i have dies.

Great Belt & Great Service

First off, customer service was great. Order was sent out incredibly quickly with great communication and I'm definitely going to be ordering from 9 for 9 again where possible.

I love this belt, it really is the best of both worlds. Support feels fantastic and able to get exactly the right fit thanks to the velcro closure which really holds firm. No break in period, great to use as soon as it came out of the package. The styling is nice too, subtle pattern blends into the belt really well.

One note of caution, I have caught some of my additional lockdown "mass" in the closure of the belt. The 2 ends overlap each other so be sure you have them the right way round or you can end up catching your skin between them

Sturdy and tight

Sturdy and tight, you can really sinch the belt when needed. The belt is stiff and provides great support while doing squats and deadlifts (I don't do the olympic lifts so i can't comment on the more dynamic movements). The velcro strap is wide and holds very well. Loop part of the velcro could be longer though for those with their "off season" power belly ;)
9 for 9 service was great, package received with some sweets and a handwritten thank you note.
